I will be offering, by Zoom, a third session of the free-writing class, Write Now!
Class will take place on 6 consecutive Thursday evenings at 7:30pm – 9:00pm.
We will meet on January 7, 14, 21, 28, February 4 and 11.
Our group is good for college-age students to age 100+
I use prompts and we write and we read, we do not edit our work in this group, we just write—so sex, drugs, rock & roll & etc enter our class as story and we accept that.
We sometimes cuss, but never gratuitously.
So, all writers must be over the age of 18 years.
Writing practice helps us explore our own minds and in this sense is not completely unlike some meditation practices.
If you are new, please read “Writing Down the Bones” by Natalie Goldberg.
Please call the Library at 914 478 3307 to reserve a spot.
