Library Cards

library card

Please bring your library card whenever you visit the library. You’ll spend less time on line!

You may bring the physical card itself or you might like to opt into using a digital library card that is now available on the new Westchester Library System APP. Just go to your APP store on your mobile device, type in “Westchester Library System” and install the free APP. Once installed, open the APP, select “My Account” and then select “Digital Library Card”. Enter your barcode and password/PIN, which is the last 4 digits of your phone number. That’s all! Now each time you visit the library, you will have your library card on your mobile device.

Library cards are FREE (lost cards are replaced for a modest fee). They must be issued from your home library in the city that you live, but then allow you to borrow materials from all 38 public libraries in Westchester. Children in kindergarten, or age five, are eligible for their own cards. To issue one, we simply need identification with proof of your name and your Hastings address. If you live on one of the following unincorporated streets, you must obtain a card from the Greenburgh Public Library:

Berrybush Lane
Boulder Ridge Road
Clarewood Drive
Clubhouse Lane
Donald Drive
Edith’s Way
Hastings Close
Heath Place
Hidden Glen Road

Mendham Avenue
Oakcrest Lane
